The wines of Marc Valette are unapologetically hedonistic. A true artisan, he left the Saint-Chinian cooperative in 1992 and immediately replanted his entire vineyards in order to follow an organic farming practice. If historically the wines were unapproachable in their youth, his wines have softened in recent years. 
But one thing that has not changed is Marc’s dedication to the wild, rugged and raw Languedoc terroir, and this continues to be reflected, vintage after vintage, in these stunningly complex and powerful wines.
